More evidence of building information modeling's (BIM) skyrocketing popularity can be found in this month's edition of CPC/BIM. A new survey reports a 75 percent increase in the use of BIM or BIM-related tools over the last two years. Furthermore, an astounding 80.8 percent of CPC/BIM's polled subscribers recently indicated that it is important for them to learn more about BIM through the newsletter. Also, the number of downloads for a software tool aimed at helping architects design more sustainable, energy-efficient buildings has risen to an all-time high of about 700 per month.
