A recent survey of architects and architectural firms about building information modeling (BIM) has yielded some surprising results. "The most surprising finding in the survey report had to do with participants not believing BIM would lead to greater pay or salary," Anthony Frausto-Robledo, who served as editor-in-chief for the "Architosh 2010 BIM Survey Report," disclosed for this month's edition of CPC/BIM. The report also reveals the percentage of respondents who have adopted BIM, the leading reasons why they are interested in BIM, and several other findings.
Also in this edition of CPC/BIM, BIM experts provide advice for webinar attendees, there is some new funding for an information kiosk that is designed to increase productivity at construction sites, John Jurewicz examines project information management, Gordon Aronson addresses work breakdown structure assignable code values, and don't forget Industry Updates.
