Dear Friends,

Can I convert MS project 2003 file to Primavera P3? I knnew from a friend that it was possible in MS Project 98.
Is it true?

I am in an unfortunate situation with our client and my boss wanting the plan in Primavera and MS project respectively.

I have the plan in MS project 2003. No idea how to convert that to Primavera.

Please Help.

Manu.

    Manulal,

    OPTION A
    1st) Install MSP98
2nd) Save your MSP2003 schedule using MSP98 to .MPX format
3rd) Convert the .MPX schedule to P3 using MPX Conversion

    OPTION B
1st) Use MPX2000 to convert MSP2003 schedule to .MPX format
2nd) Convert the .MPX schedule to P3 using MPX Conversion

Also, browse through previous posting on "MSP conversion to P3" OR "P3 conversion to MSP" for further information.

    HTH.
