MS Project 2002 MPX conversion for P3

Does anybody know if there is an issue with converting MSP2002 files into MPX for converstion into P3. I can’t get this function to work and I know it used to work for MSP2000.

    It is not possible to save a file in MPX format from MSP 2000 onwards.

    There is an article on my web site which explains some options.

    You may save it in MSP98 format and from MSP98 save as an MPX.
