Hi, I need help about cash flow. we can take cash flow of our total cost from REPORTS—COSTS—CASH FLOW. I want to see both costs and incomes of my tasks in my project and I want to take CASH FLOW of my income values. For example (excavate for foundations) my cost in this task is 1000$ and from this task I earn 1250$. I’m asking how can I compare these two values in the same project and is it possible to take cash flow of my income values. Thanks for your help

    u can try this way...

    For exapmle..
    The activity is say Excavation of 100cum...(ur direct cost 100x10$ = 1000$ and ur sales price / client bill / earn = 100 x 12.5$ = 1250$)

Now create 2 resources (1.Excavation - DIrect cost and 2.Excavation - sales)..In the group define D for Direct and S for sales of the particular resources.

Now assign both the resources of unit 100 to the particular activty..

when u update %, both the resources will get updated...

now, run the report as usual, with filtering either "D" or "S"..this will give the cash flow for either ur Earnings or Ur expense cost...
