I pasted a group of subtasks from one project to another project. However, the duration column doesn’t match for the tasks with the old project even though I changed the dates so that the start and finish dates match with the new project. There are no predecessors either.

    Hi Varun,

A few of the most likely causes for you to investigate are listed below:

    1) Are the default calendar options the same in all the projects? (Tools > Options > Calendar)
    2) Are the calendar working times the same? (Tools > Change Working Time)
    3) Are the resource Base Calendars the same? (View > Resource Sheet)
    4) Are the Task Calendars the same? (In the Gantt View – Insert > Column > Task Calendar)
    5) Is the calculation mode set to automatic? (Tools > Options >Calculation)
    6) Did you copy the whole row or just the activity names?

    Regards,

    Darren
