Importing MS Project into P6 seems to corrupt Database

My IT dept has installed a stand-alone version of P6 on my PC. I believe that before importing a programme from MS Project, all seemed to be ok.
After importing a file from MS Project, I cannot resources, because the Input fields in the wizard boxes are greyed-out.
Does anyone have any solutions, please?

For solved out like trouble
For solved out like trouble you can use ms project recovery. It can solve problems with ms project files after virus attacks, power failures, lost data and etc. The program ms project recovery is easy to use and has simply interface.
