Variance Report in MS Project

I need to compare the changes between this period (this month) and the previous period (last month) in order to see slippages in the schedule. I will appreciate any support on this matter.

    Have you thought of using Interim Baselines?

    Saving an Interim Baseline every month is a pretty easy way to show slippage.
