How to change currency from dollar to another currency in MS Project 2013?

    Try Menu \ File \ Options \

    Try Menu \ File \ Options \ Display - "Currency options for this project."  First select the Currency from the pull-down list, then the symbol and placement will revert to default values.  Be sure to hit "OK" to save before trying to implement in other (cost related) parts.
