P6 Baseline

Hi all,

This is the scenario,i prepare revise schd. & was appvd by

client,now i use it as my new baseline.when i make it as a

target for my next update,it did not reflect the revise

one,instead shows the original plan.

Pls inlighten me for this matter,im new in P6.

Hope to hear PP’s advice & comments..

    I believe ur actual dates are NOT roped in.

    Go to Admin preferences and then click on Earned Value Tab.

    At the bottom, select the Budgeted Values with Current dates rather than Planned Dates.

    What will be the case for first time base line update

    in Earnd Vaule I have set AT COMPLETION VALUE WITH CURRENT DATE.

    I believe, u meant to say, u hav two baselines and both with actual dates in.

    Even, in that case, this shud work OR otherwise u can have another workaround without changing the settings in earned value in admin preferences.

    Use this global change

    AS NE ..... (Blank), then PS EQ AS

    AF NE ..... (Blank), then PF EQ AF

    Apply these global changes and u can save it as a new baseline and work in a normal way.

    Make copies before making global change.
