Schedule % Complete

Currently i am using Activity Percent type (Units)
And i update the schedule, but when i compare the Schedule % complete, the schedule % complete is based on duration % of the baseline.
I want to compare it with Actual (Based on units) vs Planned based on units.
How can i do this comparison, I used global change to get the result as i wanted but it doesnt add up in the summary.
Please help?
