P6 to P8 Migration

Hello All,

 

I am considering updating my Primavera software from v6.7 to v8.1. Has anyone done this, and if so how did you go about migrating all your information from 6 to 8? Was it difficult? Time consuming?

I dont just mean my projects, I mean everything associated with them, such as activity codes, resource/role codes, calendars, layouts, filters, templates etc etc?

    I am not sure but i think there is no significant change between P6 and P8 ,bugs in P6 got fixed to some extent with added feature in P8 but you can manage if you knew P6
