Question about leveling resources and durations

I was wondering how to set my activities so that when I schedule and level my resources my durations change automatically?  I have been given the folowing information

 

Budgeted Hours for the activites

Available Manpower

Start date

Finish date

Set Calendar

 

I want to be able to play with my manpower and calendar to effect durations.  Hope this makes sence to someone.

    In resource levelling Option

    In resource levelling Option "CHeck Off" Preserve schedule Early & Late Dates.
