UDFs in bottom layout

What I would like to see is any UDF assigned to an activity in the bottom layout, preferably in the "Codes" tab. Is this possible? Showing a specific UDF as a column is no problem, but I would like to see whatever UDF I have assigned to an activitiy appear in one of the bottom layout tabs. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
Note: I am using 8.2
