Actual Labor Units Should Not be Budgeted Labor Units If Performance is not as per baseline

Hi experts,

After I enter actual progress (by changing remaining duration), I also want to change actual or remaining Labor Budgeted Units.  I know by default they also change in proportion to Duration % but may be resource has worked less or more so I would want to change it. I can change it, no problem.

But the problem is this that when i will mark the activity as 'Finished', the Actual Labor Budgeted Units will always change back and equivalent to Budgeted Labor Units. Software should rather calculate remaining/actual labor units as per past labor unit performance I entered i.e at activity finish, they should be less or more than Budgeted.

So, is there a way to let software do not make actual labor units = budgeted labor units but rather calulate remaining/actual as according to last performance.

Thansk
