Hello,

I'm new to Planning Planet and to the world of Project Controls. I would like to gain knowledge and certification in this field of work. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can gain some certfication in Project Controls here in the USA? I am really glad to be part of a group of intelligent individuals who are willing to share knowledge and expeirences with beginners in this industry such as myself.

    There are two currently available scheduling credentials and two emerging.

    Currently available:
    AACEi PSP     – An advanced credential focused on construction & engineering professionals with 4 to 8 years experience. See: http://www.aacei.org/educ/cert/PSP/

    PMI-SP  Scheduling Professional Credential - PMI's credential for professional schedulers. We offer world-wide email based training for this certification see: http://www.mosaicprojects.com.au/Training-Planning.html

    Soon to be available (and in the probable sequence of release):
    The Guild of Project Controls Scheduling Qualifications - The Guild of Project Controls have announced the development of a scheduling certification structure. For updates visit www.TheGuild.net

    CIOB (UK) Time Management Qualifications - the CIOB will be launching a three level scheduling certification structure.  For updates see: http://www.mosaicprojects.com.au/Training-CIOB-TM_Credential.html
