I have here activities for Mechanical ,Electrical & Plumbing installation for our project in russia a multi functional building project.
MECHANICAL & PLUMBING INSTALLATIONS
1. Heating Station
2. Smoke Protection & Ventilation System
3. Heating & Cooling System
4. Heating System Floor Convector
5. Mechanical Vertical shafts
6. PLUMBING - DOMESTIC, COLD & HOT CIRCULATION SYSTEM
7. SPRINKLER AND HOSE REEL SYSTEM
8. DOMESTIC & STORM WATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM
9. BMS SYSTEM
10. COOLING SYSTEM (CHILLERS & DRY-COOLERS ON THE ROOF)

2. EARTHING & LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEMS
3. POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

My Questions:
a. What systems or activities are included in TESTING & COMMISSIONING?
b. Around How many months is Testing & Commisioning (Duration)?
c. When is the proper timing or relationship to start Testing & Commisioning?
d. What is the relation of this list activities example: power distribution needed to start some systems.
Can anybody help me because im a civil engineer and have no experience in MEP.

a.TESTING & COMMISSIONING is rquired for all the system listed above i.e u have to connect all the systems above with an activity name "TESTING & COMMISSIONING" at the end.
b. Depends on the built up area of the building , nos of flooors how much resources u have and all .
c. It can start after the set up for the system has been completed personally i prefer this activity at the end of completion of the set up.
d. Power distribution is needed for all the listed systems.
