To save yourselves a LOT OF SPAM, here’s an idea...

When someone who has recently joined PP (ie THIS MONTH), and has very little posts to their name (ie under 5), offers to send you something if you leave your email...

DON’T DO IT !

At best, your email will be used by the impostor for future recruitment mailshots. At worst, it will be "harvested" by web-bots and you will be receiving invitations from Nigerian Princes and adverts for Mexican Chemists for the next 10 years.

The naivety of some people on this board is getting embarrassing now.

    on a related note, if you want some software to stop these Spambots harvesting your email address when you post it online, I’ll whizz it through, just leave me your email address ;)

    Is that your real name Gordon ? I see by a cruel twist of fate (something your parents unfortunately could never have made provision for) your moniker is a strange mixture of the Downing Street Dream Team that has destroyed the UK economy.

    Oh well, could be worse. I suppose you could be called Ian Huntley or something similar.

    Huntley’s legal team have just lodged a protest... ;)

    On the bright side, at least I have got the best of both worlds, I got Brown’s PR skills and charisma with Blair’s integrity

    (Gag kind of worked better before Gordon showed himself to be as lacking as any other politician in the integrity stakes :D)

    I wonder if we’ve got any David Thatchers or Margaret Camerons on the Forum.
