Can any one guide me as to how to change the start and mush finish dates for an schedule also which is updated

    Naga Bhushan Jangam,
    Activity Window Detail-> Status tab. You should find Constraints section: Primary and Secondary and change the constrain type that you wanted.

    Bhushan,
    Your thread title is Dates Constrains and that how I interpret it. Maybe you are looking for Project Window detail-> Date Tab and under Schedule dates change Project Planned Start & Must Finish date.

    Thanks , also can a project finish date can be removed for must finish date

    Bhushan,
    Project finish date is not editable. It is the result of logic assigned to activities. You can forced finish date by adding mandatory finish constraint on the last activity but it will gave you wrong float calculation and not advisable.
