differnece between Primavera P6 and P3

I am new in using P6. I've been using p3 before. Would somebody give me brief description of the diffrence between P6 and P3?

    The differences are far too

    The differences are far too vast to describe in a single post response!  The two programs are COMPLETELY different.  Actually, it is pretty hard to find similarities, other than the appearance of the activities on the screen.  Mainly, P3 is "Btrieve" based and P6 is "Oracle" based.

     

    The basic course material will give you an idea...  P6 is extremely powerful and versatile, but the learning curve is intense and steep.

    Have look at the article published by Oracle named Migration from P3 to P6,,it gives you an idea to work with P6
