%age on p6 is different

Hi All,

Just a small query, i convereted the progress from p6 to excel sheet, computed the weightage w.r.t duration of each activity and multiplied it to the current progress percentage, when added, it has given me an overall %age, but this overall %age is very different from the what the primavera p6 is giving, means primavera is giving 42% where as my excel computation is giving me 20% progress overall. WHY IS IT SO? plz help me in telling where am i wrong ?

    i am getting the progress

    i am getting the progress from DURATION % COMPLETE column... is it right?

    Try to do the exercise with

    Try to do the exercise with Units % complete or Physical percent complete
