Please suggest how much time it will take to excavate 1 Cu. Mtr. by a normal person?

    Depending on the type of soil

    Depending on the type of soil between 3 and 5 hours per M3.

    Also allow for overdig - a 1m3 pit will be about 2m3 without support.

    The stiifer the soil the harder the dig but less overdig.

    This is from my own experience as a labourer on construction sites.

    I have done a lot of planning

    I have done a lot of planning experience in basement works. Allow (1 man - 1m3 / day ) for excavate including transporting the materials to another place such as conveyor belt and to skip. Soil type Gravel

    I am also considering the

    I am also considering the same for manual excavation 1 m3 / man for 8 hours shift at Oil & Gas plant.

    Soil desert type.

    But for eqyptians they are considering above 2.3 m3/man here.
