is it possible to give another colur to the summary bars (sub total bars)

    Try ’format - bars’ and then change the colours as you like them

    Then try using hammocks, which you can format

    YES. Go to Format Bars/Pattern.

    Create dummy activity codes (or use your existing codes).
    Then choose whatever color you prefer in Format Bars/Pattern.

    This is the only way your problem will be solved!

    Or as Philip suggested using hammocks is your only way out

    However, it involved a lots of work
