Splitting activities in P3

Hi guys,
I had to switch from P3e/c to P3 3.1, i was trying to split an activity but had no idea how to do it, i have done it in MS Project, but would appreciate if anyone could suggest a way in P3.

    Hello.

    Go to Date form when in that activity and register a stop and restart dates.

    Hope it helps.

    Guys,

    Using the date has no effect on the splitting but adding its duration instead, Please try to create a separate calendar for that certain activity and make non-working date as you plan and then assign it afterwards.
