Dear All,
I am having a level 3 program now some acivities in this program i want to detail into further smaller activities.For example

0784 SC Basement internal plaster
This plaster activity i want to detail for each room , now please advise
if this activity i shoud name as hammock and all smaller activities i join with ss and ff relationships.
or what would be the best presentation layout for teh said activity.

    Hammock is almost the same as level of effort. If you breakdown your activity to WBS, then you can define that Activity as WBS and the detail activities will be the breakdown of your WBS activity. You WBS activity then will have an automatic duration based on the earliest start and last finish date of your detail activity. You can also use hammock but you need to define the predecessor (SS relationship) of the first detail activity and successor (FF relationship) of the last detail activity.

    thanks for the advice , i believe i will go for the WBS to detail the project further , i will take note fro your other post i saw where u mentioned the way the project should be broken down.
