Stored Materials

I have tried many ways to track stored materials in P3 but all have some drawbacks. I generally add a resource for stored material and when I recieve an invoice the contractor must declare what activities the material will be used for. I add an invoice activity with the value of the invoice in the stored material resource and for each activity I make a negative entry in the same resource so that net zero is added to the budget. As the activities progress they debit the stored materials entry and I can track value of material in place, remaining stored material, value of work in place, etc by the same categories as any other report. No spreadsheets, no external programs, and with Infomaker I can do nice looking reports. Cheers
