Hi guys,

help please!! URGENT!!

can the remaining cost could be negative ???

I know its wierd question. I was updating costs in P3e i got a problem as i have to add some managements deductions which are not part of any activity but some seperate issue.

So when i add new activity as "management cost correction" then i wont have budget figure, actual cost for it but only remaining cost which is negative.

Cheers,

Rav

Mathematically everything is possible. In accounting term, negative remaining cost would mean receivable amounts. But you don’t do accounting in P3, and so though theoretically possible, it is good to analyse what caused it. You can choose the activity which has a highest negative value, and look into details. It is very likely that you may find a systematic "error" that has been crept in (like deducting instead of adding etc).
