Hello everyone,

I am sorry if this has been asked before.

How would I include retainage costs in P3? Would I use Cost Accounts?

Please advise.

    what you could do is taking off a percentage of the cost on each activity and put the remainder on a milestone until the terms are in accordance with the terms of the construction contract.

    Once everything is correct with the contract, you can "release" the milestone and mark it 100%.

    withholding a certain percentage of progress on the activities will cause out-of-sequence progressing and might "mess up" your schedule.

    Dont show the cost complete 100%. Make the cost% idependent to progress duration% in auto cost rule of P3.
    you can even show the activity as completed but cost part you can claim later when you want.
