Can someone help with my problem when importing MSP to P6.1.
I have contractor plans in MSP 2002 and 2007 formats and I need to integrate them into a control plan in P6.1
When I try to import I recieve the following warning:-
Cannot save Project. Microsoft Office Project does not support saving projects into ODBC, MPD or MDB Formats. Please save the file in a format that is supported by project.
Thanks Kindly in Advance.

Have you tried to import from MSP 2003 or earlier? Our P6 does not support for MSP 2007.

    Cheers,

    Tom

    Thanks Tom,
My big problem was that my company only had 2002 and when they upgraded to Vista, Office 2007 and Project 2007 they removed 2002.
They also moved me to a server with a torturous route to my folders.
I have asked for a vesion of 2003 and as yet they have not delivered it to me.
I am hopeful when it arrives all my problems will be solved.
I posted the thread hoping someone would have solved a similar situation.
Thanks for the advice Tom and I will chase 2003 for quick delivery.
    Regards,
    Ron

If you’ll upgrade to 6.2, this import will be possible.

By the way: this is the wrong group, P6 is Primavera Enterprise (P3e).

    Regards

I have asked for the upgrade as soon as possible.
Appreciate you time and sorry for the wrong area.
I will pay more attention in future,
