Sharing Sample Projects

Ello Planning Planet’s Senior N Jr. Planners,

I am a newbie to the planning world and have found this site to be a great source of information and options. As a Jr. member, I am trying to learn as much as possible as a planner. I have been working at Intel Corp. as a Project Scheduler for the last 4 years on the development and creation of tool install schedules and factory upgrades. This consisted of three capital projects totaling over sixty thousand activities and worth over 5 Billion dollars but that’s because the tools are so expensive (lol). So, my scheduling experiences are a bit different than the Building Construction/Heavy Civil Engineering world.

Can anyone of you share some basic and interesting projects samples that you had begun and completed with either P3, P5 or P6 (any of these formats would be okay for me), which would be a good beginning for me to have as sample projects, so I could see how the Building Construction and Heavy Civil Engineering industry builds their projects. Since Intel will be reducing their Construction Services Operational budget to half and I would most likely be looking for new employment. If you could share the resources code/cost of this project that would be great.
