An issue in Updating my project

I edited the project activities finish dates but when i update the project the original dates are appearing again 

Im a new planning engineer in the company and I really need your help

    you do not edit the finish

    you do not edit the finish date. If it is done then you mark it with an actual and the actual date it finished. Finish dates are calculated from the forward (early finsh) and Backward (late finish) scheduling passes that the program runs
