A supplier delivering wrong Long Lead item to site. How would you handle calculating the risk in this case?

    Who was responsible for this order? Customer --> reason for claim; you --> prepare for penalty. It will be necessary to check the contract - by an advocat.
    Wrong, does it mean you can’t use it, or you can use it with modifications or additional work?
    I assume you work for an EPC contractor, so your employer most probably is responsible.
    But who did expediting, i.e. the supplier’s control?

    No chance to give an answer without more information.
