Hi All

In my spare time I enjoy dowsing.

Using rods and pendulums I find lost objects.

It has a practical use because I can detect underground obstacles on construction sites - metal detectors cant find ceramic drains or archeological remains or perched water.

I can.

Is this ability something you are born with or can you learn it? Most of the dowsers I have known were elderly women with hunched backs.

How are you on UXOs, Mike?

We could you use on site. It’s always unnerving when you find just a big tailfin.

I discovered that I could do it from a friend who showed me how.

In fact anyone can do it.

All you need is as open mind and the tools that are right for you - preferable made by yourself.

A cackle and hunchback are optional but no bar.

I have never dowsed for UXO’s but they are there to be located along with all other hidden objects.

Mind you - if your backacter hits a tailfin he will need a new bucket.
