An exciting role has arisen for a major player in the UK rail industry for a senior Planning Engineer with solid rail engineering experience.
As Planning Engineer, you will be required to develop and maintain the project schedule and take a proactive role in advising on, monitoring and resolving issues, actions and risks.
You will therefore have demonstrable experience of where you have developed fully baselined, resource loaded, labour costed and logic linked project schedules in a fast paced major project environment. You will also be a pragmatic problem solver, able to spot issues as they arise and provide workable solutions.
It is critical that you are able to build excellent relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients and be able to attend meetings and present with confidence. You will have a solid background in the implementation of project monitoring processes, such as KPIs, total float, earned value, resource and costing profiles.
Please note that we can only accept applications from candidates who have a solid background in project planning in the UK overground rail environment, with excellent Primavera (P3e/P6) and current eligibility to live and work in the UK.
