Senior Construction Planning Engineer – Midlands

Senior Construction Planning Engineer is required for a vacancy in the Midlands Region due to company expansion. A competitive salary is on offer plus a fully comprehensive main contractor benefits package for the right individual.

Reporting into the regions Planning Manager the Senior Planner will be responsible for the following:

·         Working within the Bid Team Producing tender programmes, method statements and logistics layouts and other information required for tender submissions.

·         Inputting into Tender Stage Risk Schedules.

• Pricing preliminaries for Tender submissions, including the production of Scaffold Schedules, Crane Enquiries and Temporary Electrics Enquiries.
• Producing and delivering presentations for Tender interviews.
• Producing Design, Procurement, Construction and As Built programmes for live projects
• Carrying out the production of progress reports, and maintaining progress records
• Producing short term programmes as required by the Site Teams
• Assisting in the preparations of claims documents, as and when required.
• Mentoring Junior & Assistant Planners.

The work will predominantly be of value between £0.5-50million, within most sectors including Commercial, Education, Health, Retirement Home, Industrial and Car Parking.

The candidate will ideally be qualified to Degree or HND level, have at least 5 years planning experience in the construction industry, and be proficient in the use of Asta Powerproject.
