Senior Planning Engineer

A Senior Planning Engineer with experience working in the Middle East region is required to join a global consultancy to work on an exciting civils project based in Qatar.

Duties and responsibilities

 

 

• Reporting to the Resident Engineer. 

• Monitoring and reporting on the project programme and contractor progress.

• Report to the Senior Resident Engineer 

• Be responsible for all aspects of the planning and programming of the work 

• Be responsible for the compilation of the monthly reports 

• Check and monitor the contractors programmes 

• Prepare reports 

• Work with the Senior Quantity Surveyor on claims and the assessments of any extensions of time.

 

 

• Degree qualified to a minimum of BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent and chartered status.

• Extensive experience similar to this project/role, regional experience is preferred.

• Experience in claims/arbitration procedures and methods are required.

• Experience in the planning of major projects.

• Computer literacy and excellent communication skills are essential.
