AND...... ANOTHER STAR BLOGGER ON PLANNING PLANET!!

Dr Dan Patterson probably doesn't need a massive introduction. Many of us today in the project controls industry use software tools that Dan has either invented or had huge influence on – he is truly an innovator and his mantra is to "make complex simple…”.

Now that Acumen (Fuse, Acumen Risk and 360) is part of Deltek, Dan is going back to his roots offering specialised risk / schedule consulting services through his new venture, PMFocus (www.pmfocus.com). Dan also continues to partner closely with Deltek.

It goes without saying that his continued thought leadership in the PPM space will inevitably lead to more great software innovations at some point down the road! In the meantime, we are excited to partner with Dan and look forward to many thought provoking topics of discussion from him.

One more thing, NOBODY has as good a perception of an industry than a vendor.....they see so many environments each and every week - working for an Organisation just does not offer the same insight! One of the things that makes Dan special is his skill not only in assessing an opportunity but enabling others to benefit in a user friendly way - completely opposite to other software products we could all mention!
