Open a 2003 file with MSP 98

Hi to all !
It’s a friend of mine that has a concern on how could it be possible to open a MSP 2003 mpp file with MSP 98 ?

He told me that 2003 file are in mpp format and he needs to convert them into mpx or something !

Does this mean anything to you ?

    in MSP 2003, save your project AS A MPS 98 FILE
    then, open this file with MSP 98
    obviously, you will lose everything specific MSP 2003
    obviously (bis) it is not appropriate to use both versions in the company and share projects.
