I am updating a project whos resource type is material, when I an updating the % work complete its not not rolling up to show the overal percentage work complete.

I have tried to change the resource type to work, how ever its giving me an overload on the resource before I can specify the maximun number of units and its pushing the project competion out by a couple of years.

How do I show the overall total number of physical work (hrs)

    Ncube,1) You need to switch

    Ncube,

    1) You need to switch off Automatic Resource Leveling (in MSP 2007 Tools=>Resource Leveling => Manual).

    2) MS Project seem to show correctly all work-related values in summary task
