Two week look ahead for MSP 2010

Hello All, 

I know this topic has been posted before; however, I was wondering if someone can drill it down for me considering that I am a beginner in MSP 2010 and to Project Management.  Basically, the project schedule has about 700 lines of tasks and activies and I need to get a two week look ahead of tasks:

1) that start on that two week window

2) closes in < 2 weeks (regardless of their start dates and end dates)

3) lists the tasks that are incomplete/late

I am sorry if that is a lot to ask but I would really appreciate if someone can shed some light on this.  If someone can include steps it would really help as I am a beginner.  Thank you in advance!

    Go to the view tab, find the

    Go to the view tab, find the filters, drop it down and run the date range filter.

    Any help?

    Already tried that.  I think

    Already tried that.  I think I need a custom filter with a few options to drill it down to.  Any other suggestions? Please!

    So, why not make a custom

    So, why not make a custom filter that does whatever it is you want? If you are a beginner, start simple to get the hang of it, and it is probably best to avoid making the queries over-complicated.

    The date range filter will get you 1) and 2). The incomplete tasks filter will get you 3). Study them both (more filters, select and edit), do not change them, and make a new filter which combines the conditions. Frankly, I wouldn't do it myself. I would just use the two filters that are already there.
