How do you handle multiple weather downtime periods within a single activity in Primavera P6?

When tracking progress, we often need to account for downtime events such as bad weather. In MS Project, this is easy to tracki using the reschedule of uncompleted work, which allows an activity to be split multiple times based on actual events reported in DPRs(daily progress reports).
For example, a foundation activity may require 15 days of productive work but experience 5 days of weather downtime during execution. This allows us to clearly separate operational work from downtime while maintaining accurate progress tracking.
In Primavera P6, the Suspend/Resume feature appears to allow only a single interruption per activity. How do typically handle activities that are interrupted multiple times due to weather, permits, access restrictions, or other contingency events? What is considered best practice in P6 for this situation?
