gantt chart is not displayed in project window, could anyone comment on why and how?

    Maybe you forget to click the Gantt Chart button.

    check you timescale start & timescale finish in page setup option tab. I have found that if the timescale is not set for your projects approximate start & finish then the gantt will not show
