Reverting the progress using global change

Hi
all is there any criteria in global change by using which we revert the progress to its orignal status( means where no prgress is marked up) instead of manually doing it for every activity.
thats probably a silly question but i am in such a situation where i have to do it( someones mistake somebody else suffers).
