Updating activity dates, %complete

I am tryng to change my activity dates cus the activities were completed earlear, but i can’t seem to get my % complete to change. what might be the problem?

    Your question is not very clear! What do you mean by “I am trying to change my activity dates ..” Are you doing an update? If this is the case you have to check :
    •The actual start
    •The actual finish
    •The remaining duration for activities started and not finished
    •The data date
    •The schedule function (F9)

    Johny is right, regarding Schedule Update.
    I would add, that the Activity % complete (technical progress) will depend on the EVT you choose in WBS view.
