Hello,
I am scheduling a maintenance shutdown for a company in the petro/chemical industry using P5. The way I have broken the work out is I subdivided the plant into 12 regions (A thru L). Each region has approximately enough hours for 1 crew of Pipefitters and 1 crew of boilermakers. I have the WBS structure broken down into these regions. I would like to Level each individual region separately (Level region A then Level region B ect....) What I am finding is that when I level for a certain recourse, its leveling for that resource in all regions. All regions have the exact same weight so top down or weighting the wbs will not work. The only think I can think of is to change all resources to include the letter of the region. For example all boilermakers in region A from BM to BMA, in region B to BMB ect so that I can go into the resources and schedule individually, but this will take a lot of time. Any suggestions??
