Do a search on ’s curves’ in pp, there should be enough info on the threads to help.

    Ijaz,

Well i am using P6 and P3 it should be same as p6.

    However please check.

Follow the steps for "S" curve.

    > View
    > Show on Bottom
    > Activity Usage Profile
    > Right click within the profile and select Cost or Unit
    > click on Graph tab and check on calculate average
    > ........

I hope this will help you, if not let me know through personel email, i will walk you through.

    Regards

    Salah

Thanks Salahuddin, your solution worked well for activities but I still have problem of getting S-curves resource-wise like for boilermaker, fitter etc. If you can sort it out please write.
    Thanks for your help

    Ijaz,

For particular resource "S" curve, please follow the steps,

    > Choose project
    > Resource assignments
    > Select the resource assignment to which you want to assign a resource curve.
    > To display curve column, click the display options bar
    > Choose columnns customize
    > Select curve from the general group and add it to the selected list

I hope this will help you and research for printing options.

    Salah,
Thanks for the reply. But what you have mentioned is missing in Version P5. If you also have version P5 then you can look what I am talking about.
    Thanks

i think it’s unclear if Ijaz wants the resource curve to show up for each assignment or if they want the resource usage profile. it seems to me he wants the histogram of resource usage.

try clicking on the resource usage profile button, then be sure to adjust the display options so that it will show the current project resources. then pick one and it will show the "s-curve" as a bar chart on the right.
