Hello Planners,
Can someone explain?
I have in PM5/6 a (very) small project with 2 activities:
Activity 1 is task dependant, 40 day long, As Late As Possible,
Activity 2 is finish milestone, Finish on or before July 1st, 2008
BOth activities and the project are using a std 5 day a week, 8 hr a day calendar
Why is Activity 2 time-stamped 07/01, 2008 08:01?
If I change the milestone to Start milestone, timestamp is 08:00
As a comparison, I have created the same project in P3 with planning unit to the hour; the milestone is timestamped at 00:59.
I presume that P3 and PM5/6 are defining a day as 24hrs from 00:00 to 23:59, and not from 00:00 to 00:00 as MSP (burp).
Does this explain that a finish milestone could finish early inthe morning the following day instead of late in the evening the same day?
Thanks for your help,
Alexandre
