Being Project Planning Engineer in a company running several major projects (several hundreds of thousand hours required) at the same time, I’m be interested in the solutions provided by softwares such as PRIMAVERA or MS PROJECT SERVER concerning the following axis : project planning & scheduling, ressources management, progress estimation, collaborative features, reporting...
PRIMAVERA is often presented as the most advanced solution...
I would need some info to select one solution
If you’re already user of such a soft, may I have your feedback (pros / cons...)?
Could you also give me some idea as regard investment related to set up thi kind of solution in a company

we use different software for project and portfolio management. So I will not advice much.
Just one question: do you need resource levelling in the portfolio? Do you use the same limited resources in many projects?
If your answer is Yes then MS Project shall not be considered at all.
I hope that P6 users will explain how P6 manage limited resources in the project portfolio. This post is placed in their forum.
If you have time I recommend to create a list of your PM requirements and check if the software does what you need.
