Changing the appearance of P6 links

Apologies if this has been asked or answered on the forum before but I couldn’t turn anything up in a search so here goes....
What I would like to be able to do (if possible) is change the way P6 displays logic links. I personally don’t like the way all links look like they have lag in them even if they don’t (they stick out at either end of the activity and I think they confuse).
Is there anyway to change the way they are displayed so they look like links in P3?

The graphics in P6 are every basic and you may not format the links.
