I am wanting to level a set of activities which have a role but no Resource.
I have created a dummy Resource, and added it to each of the activities.
I now need to make the number of ’Resource’ Labour Units equal to the number of labour units which exist against the role. (some activities have a low number of units spread over a long period of time)
I have tried a Global Change, to make ’User_Number1’ = Budget Labour Units (of the Role),
followed by another
Global Change to make Budget Labour Units (of the Resource) = ’User_Number1’
But the second Global Change doesn’t seem to recognise the value of ’User_Number1’ .
(I have even tried using an un-used field (Overtime Factor) to carry the value, but that doesn’t work either)
Does anyone have any suggestions?
